![]() Then I apply all the metadata I want to apply in PM Plus and I mean all!Īfter that I export all the JPEGS from all the RAW I'm working with in Photolab.įinally I run a Scan to Catalog of the main folder I have been working with and the subfolders too. Personally i develop the RAW-images first in Photolab. It is important though that you establish a work flow that works. With that said, the DxO-representative have to get updated on the fact that PM or PM Plus does not affect the very images and the image quality at all from my experience. Would it be possible to get an automatic update in Photomechanic too? In PMPlus you have a "folder watch"-function in the ingest-system but that's it. (through the file systems logs)Īfter that every change of a file will result in an automatic update of the index. The difference though is that FotoWare then activates a folder watch on every folder beneth the topfolder. I guess like many other enterprise DAM FotoWare - like PhotoMechanic - index everything below the topfolder you point at where all the images lays you will incorporate in your the catalog you just are about to create. Once I worked with the Norwegian enterprise DAM-system FotoWare (not misspelled just norwegian spelling :-). Since i know how the system works now I can handle this in my workflow but it would be much better to at least give us an option to handle this automatically. ![]() Kirk, I know there is a feature request posted about this and I have lifted it myself in a conversation with one of your staff. In that case it will not reflect the changes you have made in for example Photolab, before you make a "Scan to Catalog". Photolab kan see the metadata added by PMP without even an import and if I export from PL to a DNG or JPEG everything works as expected what I have seenĪ thing that can happen is that an image you know you have updated in Photolab is not updated automatically in PMPlus. Quote from: Stenis on June 12, 2021, 06:43:18 AM I use PhotoMechanic Plus with Photolab 4 and I see no problems that I can't handle with the integration. If you really get this integration to work and you can synk your efforts with DXO there will be more people who won't hesitate to leave Adobe and Lightroom for good. You have all the reasons to solve this since Photolab and PhotoMechanic is an extremely powerful combo. Maybee it's DXO and PL that has these limitations but since there are two of your softwares interacting you might have to talk. I would be very glad if your people at Camera Bits could sort this out together with DXO. If I have both PMP and PL open and select say five images in PMP and chose to edit them all in PL with the Edit-link in PMP Photolab it only opens one of them BUT if i expose both windows side by side and drag and drop them from PMP to PM it works with all five images. BUT, there is an issue I have tried to get you to solve: ![]() Photolab kan see the metadata added by PMP without even an import and if I export from PL to a DNG or JPEG everything works as expected what I have seen I use PhotoMechanic Plus with Photolab 4 and I see no problems that I can't handle with the integration.

![]() Next, we'll learn how the U.S and the USSR put their nuclear subs to use during the Cold War. Throughout the Cold War, the Soviet Union continued produce (and still does produce) diesel-electric submarines armed with nuclear warheads. ![]() The Soviet Union launched its first nuclear sub armed with ballistic nuclear missiles in 1960, the same year that feat was accomplished by the U.S. Early Soviet subs, such as the K-19 (known as the "Widowmaker"), were plagued by problems and resulted in several fatal accidents. The development of a nuclear submarine took the Soviets about five years' time from drawing board to commissioning. The USSR didn't commission its first nuclear sub until 1958, and the submarine didn't cross the North Pole until 1962. Then, submarines were both powered by reactors and armed with ballistic nuclear weapons. The development of nuclear submarines followed a similar arch with both nations - first, submarines were developed that were powered by nuclear reactors but still used non-nuclear armaments. A few years after the Nautilus, an alarmed Soviet Union developed its own nuclear submarine capabilities. Over time, the submarines were armed with ballistic missiles capped with nuclear warheads. By this time, more advanced technologies were being developed and Nautilus functioned as a trainer sub after 1966.īeing able to travel the globe undetected meant that enemy military and commercial ships were exposed to submarine attack at any time and virtually any place on the Earth's oceans. Then it was assigned to the Sixth Fleet in 1960. After it reached the North Pole, the Nautilus was overhauled and had its reactor changed. Just a few years after being put to sea, the Nautilus became the first submarine to sail beneath the arctic ice, reaching the North Pole on Aug. SIFO and SIBO have a significant overlap of symptoms. This is mainly due to the candida organism making biofilms to protect themselves from the various treatments being given. Recurring SIBO or IMO symptoms that persist after proper treatment can be the result of candida overgrowth. They can also include lethargy, myalgia, joint pain, and environmental sensitivities (chemicals, molds, etc).Ī strange symptom that can help lead a physical to a diagnosis of SIFO is flatulence after eating a high simple carbohydrate meal or beverage (2). Other classic symptoms can include a white coat on the tongue called oral thrush, fatigue, depression, chronic vaginal yeast infections, allergies, and skin issues. Symptoms can include classic digestive symptoms of bloating, gas, cramps, and perianal itching. This war can cause a depletion of resources, which chronically can suppress the immune system and lead to a larger overgrowth (1). ![]() When there is an overgrowth, it can deal some damage to the intestinal lining, or fight a long war with bacteria in the digestive tract. Generally, candida lives in our digestive tract ecosystem harmoniously with the other bacteria that make up the microbiome. One of the most notable traits of candida infection is that it can make a biofilm to protect itself from various treatments. SIFO is a fungal – or more commonly a yeast overgrowth – inside the small intestines that can cause many symptoms similar to SIBO. People who have recently undergone antibiotic therapy, dental procedures, have a diet high in simple carbohydrates, people who have recurring vaginal yeast or chronic sinusitis, and other conditions have increased risk of developing SIFO. ![]() This condition is also more likely to induce digestive symptoms in patients who have underlying diseases such as cancer. Patients have a higher risk of developing SIFO when they have been immunocompromised. And if they are sped up and more frequent, it can cause diarrhea. If the contractions are slowed down and less frequent, they can cause constipation. When these contractions are altered, it can cause digestive symptoms. We have muscles along our digestive tracts that contract, allowing substances to move through. Intestinal dysmotility is a common precursor to digestive disorders. However, non-secretors don’t have this protection, giving them a higher likelihood of chronic candidiasis (2). ![]() For instance, these sugars normally inhibit candida from binding to the lining of our intestines. These sugars can act as a shield, preventing other microorganisms from being able to attach themselves. However, it is our goal to keep this fungus at a proper level.Ĩ0% of the population are secretors, meaning that their blood cells attach their specific sugars to different substances in the body. Blood Typesīlood Type Os (about 40% of the population) and anyone who is a non-secretor (about 20% of the entire population) will always have yeast in their digestive tracts. Anyone who has either a Blood type O, a homozygous recessive FUT2 genetic mutation, or has a Lewis A+, Lewis B- blood type – making them a non-secretor – is also more susceptible to candida overgrowth. However, a similar study found that individuals who take PPIs (proton pump inhibitors) may be more susceptible. Limited preliminary data suggests that younger children, older adults, and individuals with weakened immune systems are more prone to getting SIFO. Other names for SIFO include chronic candidiasis and yeast syndrome (1). This can lead to a number of digestive symptoms. Small Intestinal Fungal Overgrowth, or SIFO, occurs when yeast – also known as candida – is able to grow in large quantities in the small intestine. On the other side, Revo 3 incorporates in its tires the Resonance Noise Attenuated silencer grooves, as a result of which, the noise produced by the tires is reduced to a great extent. But as the speed is increased, it seems like it is a bit for the tire to take, and therefore you do begin to hear some noise. What about Noise?Ĭontinental tires in comparison to the other tires, produces much less noise on the road. It is almost inaudible. However, when it gets off-road, it seems to handle the irregularities a bit better, and hence does not take the comfort away completely. Revo 3, on the other hand, although provides the comfort the travelers and the drivers need, it has not been able to gain a rating as high as Continental Terrain A/T when it comes to driving on road. As hard as it may be to drive on an irregular path, the smoothness of the ride may, quite frankly, vanish. However, when taken off-road, the quality of your drive might deteriorate. It assures the driver of the stability of the vehicle on road. ![]() The mild all-terrain tread pattern that Continental Terrain Contact flaunts gives the riders a comfortable smooth ride on road. However, while cornering on a snowy path, you might have to face problems. The deep circumferential grooves make the drive in mud comparatively easier. The 3D steps in the staggered shoulders of Bridgestone Revo 3 aid the tire in finding stability in the not-so-stable, soft pathways. When on a soft path (mud or snow)Ĭontinental Terrain Contact A/T has to face problems while driving through the mud because its sipes and the grooves are not deep enough to deal with it. That, combined with the stability of the tread blocks makes it look all good. When talking about Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 3, we can’t forget about its Traction Claw Technology that churns the small rocks and dirt on the way making the drive much easier. When on rocksĬontinental Terrain Contact A/T with its strong and stable tread blocks and the closed shoulders provides traction on the rocky surfaces. You can’t expect the vehicle to run on smooth when it is running over some hard rocks or mud or just a lot of puddles. Although the tire still shows a slightly larger braking distance, its structure provides a stable drive while moving, braking, and turning on the wet roads. That is why the wet traction of this tire has also been rated to be excellent and it has shown to have lesser braking distance.īridgestone Revo 3, along with its grooves and sipes, takes the help of its open shoulder slots that take the water out of way from the path of your vehicle. This makes the traction on the wet roads, in particular, easy. When driving on a wet road, the deep sipes and the grooves on the Continental Terrain Contact A/T increase the contact between the road and tire by wiping away the water, mud, and dirt that comes on the way. However, in a road test, the braking distance of the Bridgestone Revo 3 tire was found to be a bit more than the Continental Terrain Contact A/T. This makes the traction and the handling of the tire on a highway look great. The strong shoulders and the stable tread blocks that the design of Bridgestone Revo flaunts offer increased friction between the road and the tire and hence increased stability. Not only are the dry traction and the dry handling of the Continental Terrain Contact A/T great but the braking distance of the tire is also pretty less, which makes it a good option. The blocks offer the right amount of friction that keeps the vehicle stable as it moves, brakes or turns on a highway. This is well explained by the stable tread blocks and the closed shoulders that its design holds. In the consumer survey stats, the dry traction offered by Continental Terrain Contact A/T was 9.2. However, the open shoulders of the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 3 are a plus when it comes to wet handling in comparison to the closed shoulders of the Continental Terrain Contact A/T. And while all of that happens, the sipes save the day by providing the right grip on the wet roads and on the snowy neighborhood.īoth the tires seem to have a very intelligent design for longer tread life, reduced wear, and dry and wet handling. Deep tread depths, wide grooves, and open shoulder slots are just what will the water away from the path of your vehicle. The strong shoulders and the stable tread blocks make the handling all good. The symmetric pattern is quite a useful trait of the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 3 for that is what is going to prevent your tires from getting irregular wear. And the edge-of-the-block traction grooves do not let the mud, water, or dirt on the path make your journey uncomfortable. The full-depth sipes wipe away the water on the roads. Continental TerrainContact A/T knows quite well how to prevent uneven wear for it holds stable tread blocks and a closed shoulder design. ![]() Continued demand for sustainable product formats, investments made into trade spend, and recent contract wins are expected to maintain growth of Flow brand net revenue going forward.įlow is maintaining its target for Flow brand net revenue growth of 25% - 30% in FY 2022 as compared to the prior year as sell-in rates to distributors and retailers improves, and as the Company benefits from new distribution agreements and product innovations.
